MVC People Trapped

Just before 08:00 Wilmington Manor along with Mutal Aid were dispatched to Route 141 and Washington Ave in the area of the New Castle County Airport for a Motor Vehicle Accident with people reported trapped. First arriving units encountered a heavily trapped person in one of the vehicles, and a total of six injured people. The crews from Rescue/Engine 28-6, Rescue 33 (Air Guard), and Rescue 22-6 (Minquadale) worked to free the patient in about 45 minutes by removing the doors, roof, and displacing the dash. All patients were transported to the area hospital for treatment. The Delaware State Police are investigating the accident.
