Rescue Assist on 3 Alarm Fire

Just after 19:00hrs Rescue/Engine 28 assisted Christiana Fire on a 3 alarm apartment fire in the Barrett run development. Units from christiana arrived to find a 3 story apartment building with fire on the 2nd, 3rd floor and in the attic area. Rescue/Engine 28 arrived as the 3rd due engine assignment laying out from a 2nd hydrant and deploying a 3rd handline to the fire building. Crews worked onscene for approximately 4hrs. While crews were operating at the fire a second box was transmitted to assist Good Will Fire Company on a residential fire on the unit block of valley forge rd. While 28-8C was covering the district he arrived to find a 2 story single family dwelling with smoke from the roof of an attached garage. Crews investigated and found a small fire inside an exterior wall.
